Tip Out by Boyfriend Solutions LLC. Last updated October 7, 2026.
Tip Out is a calculator. It does the arithmetic and shows its work, and the decisions about who gets what stay with you and your workplace.
What the numbers mean
Percentage tip-outs are taken from what is left after the flat tip-outs. Shares are rounded to whole dollars and always add up to the pool, and the receipt names anyone who received a rounding dollar.
The result is only as good as what you enter. Check the cash count and the hours before you share a receipt.
Your workplace decides the rules
Tip pooling rules differ by state, city and employer, including who may share in a pool. Tip Out splits whatever you enter and makes no judgement about whether a split is allowed. It is not legal, tax or payroll advice.
No warranty, and what we are not liable for

Changes
